Not to be outdone by their distinguished competition, Marvel has officially dropped its roadmap for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and they are blanketing the convention floor with a massive mix of comics, gaming, and cinematic firepower

Running from Wednesday, July 22, through Sunday, July 26, Marvel’s presence at the San Diego Convention Center will center around Booth #2329 and Booth #2519. The layout includes hands-on gaming zones, massive experiential photo ops, and a heavy-hitting panel schedule that marks the return of the Marvel Studios juggernaut to its home turf

The Main Event: Marvel Studios Storms Hall H

    • The Date & Time: Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. PT.
    • The Pitch: After a quieter period, Kevin Feige and company are officially taking back Hall H. Marvel is keeping the specific details tightly under wraps, simply promising “special guests from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe” sharing an exclusive look at what’s next. However, with Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, the industry expectation is that the first major public look at the blockbuster will debut right here on the San Diego stage.

The Comics Lineup: Armageddon and the Midnight Universe

Marvel’s publishing division is anchoring the weekend with two major panels tracking the future of the printed page:

    • Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing: This panel will gather the industry’s biggest creators to look ahead at the fall slate, with specific focus shifted onto Amazing Spider-Man #1000, Infernal Hulk, DNX, and Queen in Black.
    • Avengers: Armageddon: Highlighting the incoming blockbuster comic event where Red Hulk conquers Latveria and clashes with the Avengers, this panel will give fans a deep-dive look into the event’s trajectory. As a bonus, attendees who stay until the end of the panel will walk away with an exclusive copy of Avengers: Armageddon #2 featuring a secret variant cover by Chip Zdarsky.
    • The Midnight Universe: Marvel will also shine a major spotlight on its rapidly expanding horror/superhero mashup imprint, mapping out the terrifying next steps for the supernatural corner of the universe.

    The Screen & Gaming Showcase

Beyond the core MCU, Marvel is bringing heavy media integration directly to the fans:

    • X-Men ’97 Season 2: Friday afternoon brings the Marvel Comics to Screen: X-Men ’97 panel, featuring the creative team and surprise voice talent offering an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated sophomore season.
    • Insomniac’s Wolverine & Marvel Rivals: Gamers can head to Room Hall H on Thursday morning for Marvel’s Wolverine – Deep Cuts, where Insomniac Games’ creative leaders alongside actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine) and Krizia Bajos (Jean Grey) will unveil brand-new narrative details. Furthermore, fans who stop by the main Marvel booth can take a photo with a looming Proto-Sentinel head and grab a physical copy of the Marvel’s Wolverine Prequel Comic, written by narrative director Walt Williams.
    • Fighting game enthusiasts can also look forward to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, featuring developers from Arc System Works showcasing the upcoming fighter alongside legendary artist Mike Deodato.

Marvel is bringing the kitchen sink to San Diego this year. Whether you are hunting for exclusive Chip Zdarsky variants, looking for a sneak peek at X-Men ’97, or waiting for the internet to shake from whatever drops inside Hall H on Saturday night, the House of Ideas is making sure they dominate the conversation
