Nintendo teases LEGO Donkey Kong set (UPDATE)

The Nintendo Today! app is quickly becoming the place where Nintendo shares all sorts of brand-new information, giving us looks at things we didn’t even know were coming down the pipeline. That’s what they’ve done today, once again pulling back the curtain a bit to show us something in the works
In a very quick teaser video, Nintendo has revealed that at LEGO Donkey Kong set is in the works. The teaser is incredibly brief, showing a Donkey Kong barrel rolling across a table…and that’s pretty much it. Still, based on the barrel, it seems like this LEGO Donkey Kong set may be focusing on the original Donkey Kong arcade game, but that’s just speculation for now
With this tease out of the way, it seems likely either Nintendo or LEGO will be sharing more details on this Donkey Kong set in the near future. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more details and bring you more info as soon as it pops up
UPDATE 7/10: A new leak has give us our first look at Nintendo and LEGO’s upcoming Donkey Kong set, which is supposedly priced at $200 and will see release on Aug. 1st, 2026. This is a 1367-piece set. (h/t Wario64)
