If you like your films fast, action-packed and propelled by revenge, then the latest project by Guy Ritchie will be right up your street.
The writer and director is teaming up with long-term collaborator, actor Jason Statham, to create an all-new film for Netflix called Dogfight. Production is set to start next year with filming taking place in the UK, while the streaming platform describes it as “a stylish revenge action [film] set in the London criminal underworld”.

While plot details still remain tightly under wraps, we can expect big things, given the actor and writer have a seven project-strong partnership spanning the likes of Lock, StockandTwo Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and the thriller VivaLa Madness, set for release in 2028. Starring in the film, Statham – known for his roles in Transporter andFast & Furious franchises, as well as The Meg,The Beekeeper and Wrath of Man – is also a producer on Dogfight, alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg.
While we’re still awaiting more information about cast and what to expect from the film, if the success of Ritchie’sThe Gentlemen is anything to go by, we can hope Dogfight will be a similarly stylish revenge story. In the meantime, there’s a lot to enjoy in his back catalogues for now.
