Popular Poker Streamer Lex Veldhuis Unveiled as the Latest GGPoker Ambassador

GGPoker, the world’s largest poker site, has announced that Lex Veldhuis has joined its elite ranks, becoming the latest member of the exclusive GGTeam.

Veldhuis is an accomplished poker player and one of the most popular streamers in the industry, so it comes as no surprise that he’ll be taking on the role of a Global Streaming Ambassador.

Lex will find himself in good company as the GGTeam consists of some of the best players in the world. Some of the names on the roster include Daniel Negreanu, arguably the most famous poker player in the world, the 2025 WSOP Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi, and many other top professionals.

One-of-a-Kind Streamer

Over the years, Lex Veldhuis has become one of the most recognized personalities in the poker industry, building one of the biggest and most popular Twitch poker channels. Combining his impressive skills, aggressive play style, and endless passion for streaming, he created one of the biggest and most loyal communities in the history of poker streaming.

What keeps his followers coming back is Lex’s unique ability to break down and explain even the most complicated decisions in ways that resonate even with beginners. Thus, the audience gets the best of both worlds: streams featuring high-stakes tournament action with big money up top and a streamer who has the ability and patience to explain his decisions and thought processes under pressure.

Moving forward, Veldhuis will regularly stream his action on GGPoker, continuing to bring his unique style to the masses and offering educational opportunities, entertainment, and his unique blend of humor that most fans grow to love.

Of course, the community will also get to enjoy exclusive tournaments as well as bespoke promotions, adding even more value for the dedicated fans.

Important Addition to GGTeam

On top of his own streaming duties, Veldhuis will also be the champion for all online poker creators out there, putting GGPoker’s purpose-built Streamer Mode right, front, and center. By doing this, he’ll showcase all the different benefits available to those who decide to join the program.

Lex was a member of the Team PokerStars for a long time. After he parted ways with the operator earlier this year, he started streaming more regularly once more, and now he finds a new home at GGPoker.

In the PR announcing the partnership, Veldhuis had this to say: “GGPoker is the biggest poker site in the world, and it really feels like the natural fit for me and my community. Over the last year I’ve played exclusively on GG and have been genuinely impressed by the software and the size of the tournaments. It has completely invigorated my enjoyment of poker and grinding again.”

He also emphasized that he’s been intrigued by the GGPoker Team’s vision and drive to innovate for a while now, so this feels like a perfect fit from both sides.

Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker’s biggest ambassador, also commented on the news, calling Veldhuis “an absolute titan in the poker streaming world.” Daniel underlined Lex’s qualities, including his work ethic, passion for the game, and the ability to connect with the community, all of which he sees as great qualities required for a GGPoker Ambassador.

Veldhuis will continue to stream on his Twitch channel, so all the old fans know exactly where to find him, and the new and existing followers alike can look forward to more content, more exclusive giveaways, and just the right amount of Lex-branded humor to keep things flowing.
