Heidi Klum once again cemented her status as the queen of Halloween with a gruesome transformation. The supermodel dressed as a giant severed version of her own left hand for her annual Halloween party in New York City.

The elaborate costume featured long red nails, her thumb ring, wedding band and even a tattoo of husband Tom Kaulitz’s name. Klum said the look took about six hours to put on, while the prosthetics and costume were developed over several months. Her face appeared through the center of the hand, with blood dripping from her mouth and fake tendons hanging from the wrist.

Dylan Sprouse and his wife, model Barbara Palvin, embraced a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme for their Halloween celebration. Palvin underwent a dramatic transformation into Oogie Boogie, complete with green makeup, a burlap-style hat, a zigzag costume and matching green boots.
