The Milwaukee Brewers’ championship tour has taken them to “Saturday Night Live.”

Fresh off their World Series title, the Brewers made a cameo inside Studio8H during “Weekend Update” of the Oct. 31 Halloween episode of “SNL.”

Christian Yelich and Brice Turang, along with manager Pat Murphy, appeared with Colin Jost at the end of “Update.”

The trio appeared with Bobby Moynihan, a former cast member who made a special guest appearance during the episode and revived his famed character “Drunk Uncle” for the segment.

Moynihan began the bit wondering if a beer winning the World Series was all a dream.

Enter the Brewers.

Turang, holding the Commissioner’s Trophy, and Yelich were wearing their home cream-colored Brewers jerseys. Murphy, with a World Series cut-off sweatshirt, sat beside Moynihan.

“Don’t worry, Drunk Uncle, it wasn’t a dream,” Yelich told Moynihan’s character.

Turang chimed in, “We’ve also been drinking since Wednesday (the night the Brewers won the championship).”

Murphy, the reigning two-time National League manager of the year, added “I’m the manager and that’s kind of like being the drunk uncle.”

All three returned to the stage at the conclusion of the show for the sign-off from host Inde Navarrette.

As the credits rolled on the episode, the three mingled and exchanged pleasantries with the cast.

World Series Brewers are coming off a historic parade

Their appearance has been part of a whirlwind week for the team.

The Brewers won the franchise’s first World Series on Wednesday night over the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, Florida, finishing off a historic season and dominant playoff run. The team returned to Milwaukee the next day with the Commissioner’s Trophy in hand before a massive parade awaited them on Friday, Oct. 30.

Over 750,000 fans celebrated the championship at the parade and rally in downtown Milwaukee, showing their appreciation to a team that captivated the city and state in 2026.

While these players were on the national stage showing off their comedic skills, some of their teammates were having fun trick-or-treating back in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and others were courtside at the Milwaukee Bucks game at Fiserv Forum.

Following a regular season in which the Brewers won a franchise-record 103 wins, manager Pat Murphy’s team followed it by beating the San Diego Padres, 3-1, in the National League Division Series, dethroned the two-time reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, getting revenge from the previous year with a sweep, before defeating the Rays in five games to reach baseball’s pinnacle.

Who is hosting SNL?

The Brewers’ appearance on SNL comes with Inde Navarrette as the host.

The 25-year-old actress is best known for her role in the horror movie, “Obsession.” She first made a name for herself in the drama series “13 Reasons Why” and the “Superman & Lois” series.

Her profile will continue to grow when she plays Rogue in an X-Men movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is scheduled for a 2028 release.

Who is the musical guest on SNL?

Gracie Abrams is the music guest on SNL.

The 27-year-old’s appearance on SNL precedes the pop singer’s worldwide “The Look at My Life Tour” to promote her third studio album Daughter from Hell that was released earlier this year.

In 2025, Abrams won the American Music Award for New Artist of the Year.
