Va. (WFXR) – From military action to <a href="https://comicvibe.com/the-best-horror-cosplays-of-new-york-comic-con-2026/” title=”The Best Horror Cosplays of New York Comic Con 2026″>horror games, one Lexington man is using his voice to bring video game characters to life
Brian Watts is a professional voice actor whose credits include War Thunder, OPERATOR, BODYCAM, Ready or Not and The Mortuary Assistant.
Behind the microphone, Watts uses his voice and delivery to create distinct characters and help shape the gaming experience for players.
But one of the most rewarding parts of the job happens outside the recording booth, connecting with the people who enjoy his work.
“Sort of seeing the reaction from fans. Going to conventions, signing autographs, meeting, you know, kids, adults and anyone in between who loves my work and just overall, you know, loves the projects I’ve worked on,” Watts said.
For Watts, he says each role offers another opportunity to create a character players can connect with, even if they never see the person behind the voice.
Watts added, “That’s the biggest thing for me is I just I love being out there for the community, being out there for the fans. If I can make somebody laugh, smile, cry, then that’s me doing a good job in my personal opinion.”
