Time to set sail! Epic Games will bring “Treasure Hunters,” a mini-season focused on the search for loot and featuring characters from One Piece, to the Fortnite Battle Royale island on November 1, 2026. According to our colleagues at ActuGaming, this fifth season of Chapter 7 marks the end of the chapter. A trailer combining live-action footage and in-game visuals showcases the first new features.
Fortnite Treasure Hunt Trailer:
A new pirate-themed map
The first change concerns the map. The trailer reveals a skull-shaped island, complete with chests and seafaring references. The environment draws on pirate imagery, which provides the season’s theme, with several areas briefly shown in the video.
The trailer offers glimpses of Arlong Park and Foosha Village, two locations in the world of One Piece, as well as the Marigold ship and the Baratie. These glimpses offer an initial sense of the destinations featured on the map, although its full layout and the French names of the locations have yet to be confirmed.
A battle pass still to be fleshed out
Jones, Hope, Charlotte and Cuddle Team Leader are also reportedly set to feature in the Battle Pass, though Epic Games has yet to fully confirm this. The official price, tier details and full distribution of rewards have yet to be specified. As DL Gaming points out, not all the details on how to obtain the outfits have been announced. Luffy’s or Zoro’s appearance in the video therefore does not, by itself, mean they can be presented as Battle Pass rewards.

One Piece, Hatsune Miku and A$AP Rocky among the outfits
When it comes to “skins,” One Piece features prominently in this lineup. According to Infinity Area, the selection includes Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji. Several members of the Straw Hat crew created by Eiichiro Oda are thus featured in this new season.
The same outlet also cites American rapper A$AP Rocky, as well as Hatsune Miku in a pirate outfit and Kasane Teto. These two virtual music figures broaden the collaborations featured around Treasure Hunt. The exact release schedule and prices for these various outfits have yet to be announced.
Pirate weapons and attacks inspired by Luffy
The gear shown also follows the season’s theme. The trailer features a weapon reminiscent of a blunderbuss and an old-fashioned rifle. Their official names, stats, and unlock requirements in the Battle Royale have not yet been revealed.
The footage also shows Luffy’s extendable attacks and Usopp’s slingshot, as well as a mobile cannon and a sword. We still need to find out exactly how they work in-game, including the damage they deal, any limits on their use and whether they’ll be available at launch.
The Going Merry announced in place of the Battle Bus
The change will also affect the start of matches. According to the trailer, the Going Merry, Luffy’s crew’s first ship, will replace the Battle Bus during the mini-season. Recognizable by its sheep’s-head figurehead, the ship will carry players before they arrive on the island.
While we wait for more details, one final question: what if you were the Pirate King?
