Pokémon fans might want to make room for new collectibles because McDonald’s is reportedly preparing a major Happy Meal collaboration.
To celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, the fast food chain is expected to bring back Pokémon-themed Happy Meals this November, complete with collectible toys, trading cards, and special packaging. While McDonald’s hasn’t officially announced the promotion, newly leaked images give fans a clearer idea of what could be coming.
Promotional materials circulating online appear to reveal 15 different Pokémon-themed toys, each designed to look like a miniature Happy Meal box featuring a familiar Pokémon.
The reported lineup includes Pikachu, Eevee, Umbreon, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Weedle, Torchic, Sobble, Espurr, Munchlax, Minccino, Sprigatito, Piplup, and Rowlet.
The leaked materials also suggest that each toy will come with two Pokémon trading cards. The full card collection hasn’t been revealed yet, though Pokémon news site PokéBeach reports there will be 15 cards to collect.
Images also show special Pokémon-themed apple slice packaging featuring Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Eevee. So even the fruit is apparently getting involved.
As for when everything will be available, that’s where things get a little complicated.
The newly leaked promotional sheet lists November 10 through December 14, 2026, as the campaign’s U.S. dates. PokéBeach also reports that it confirmed that window with multiple McDonald’s locations, although McDonald’s itself has yet to announce the promotion.
With the franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary, the combination of miniature Pokémon Happy Meal boxes, trading cards, and themed packaging could make this year’s reported release especially appealing to collectors.
Of course, we still don’t know much, including the full trading card lineup and whether all the leaked designs will appear exactly as shown.
For now, I’m just hoping those little Happy Meal boxes are real. And if they are, I have a feeling plenty of adults will suddenly find themselves ordering Happy Meals again.
