Nintendo’s not gonna like this…

The company has become somewhat notorious for their swift takedowns of illegal game distributions, and they’ve managed to hold most of them off for as long as possible. Internet pirates are relentless however, and it seems they’ve just managed to break down the Switch 2 barrier.
Reports are indicating that ROMs of Switch 2 games are in the process of being dumped online for the very first time. A screenshot shared by @ProjLightning on Twitter shows a list of files datamined from a ROM for the Duskbloods beta. They also indicate that ROMs for the first four chapters of DELTARUNE are currently making the rounds, and it’s expected that more are on the way.
At this rate, it’s probably just a matter of time before the floodgates truly open and Switch 2 piracy becomes commonplace. It remains to be seen how Nintendo will react to this, or what measures they’ll take to try to lessen the impact.
