Guru Randhawa concert to feature robot
Singer-songwriter and actor Guru Randhawa is all set to return to the live stage with his stadium show, The Sirra Era Live In Concert. The singer will perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on December 12, 2026.
A fan video of the singer at the stadium is going viral on social media, which has raised eyebrows. The video has sparked speculation that Guru Randhawa may bring India’s first-ever concert featuring the physical deployment of robots to the stage.
During a venue walkthrough at JLN Stadium, automated mechanical units were seen being calibrated on the ground for his homecoming concert on 12th December 2026, following a 3-year hiatus from live performances.
As a Punjabi, I love seeing Guru Randhawa push the boundaries of live entertainment!
Visuals show robots being tested at Delhi’s JLN Stadium ahead of his December 12 comeback concert. Beyond the spectacle, there’s an interesting business angle here. Concerts are evolving from live music into technology-driven experiences. Robotics, AI and immersive production could give artists new ways to differentiate their shows and justify premium ticket prices. The next big competition in live entertainment may be as much about the experience as the artist on stage. And seeing a Punjabi artist explore that is pretty exciting! — Inorganic Growth Enabler (@harjitrathore) October 23, 2026
The retrospective concert will showcase key anthems from his 13-year career, upholding a production standard comparable to the critical acclaim received by his latest trailer, a development made more significant by the record-breaking 1.2 lakh attendance at his last live event in Rajasthan.
However, Guru Randhawa has not addressed whether the video is real or AI-generated. The singer is yet to share an update on his tour featuring robots.
Ticket sales will begin next week on BookMyShow. The Sirra Era Live In Concert is produced by Saregama Live in association with Warner Music and RTHYMS.
The forthcoming stadium-scale spectacle will mark his return to the stage following a three-year touring hiatus. Produced by Saregama Live in collaboration with Rhythms and Warner Music India, the concert is being envisioned as a homecoming for the singer, whose career began gaining momentum in Delhi. The event will commemorate his 13-year journey in the music industry.
The setlist is expected to feature several of the singer’s most popular tracks, including Lahore, High Rated Gabru, Suit Suit, Patola, Dopamine, AZUL, Naach Meri Rani, Made In India, SHKINI, PERFECT, Qatal, Slowly Slowly, Sirra and Ban Ja Rani.
