Four songs debuted on Fortnite
Global rap phenomenon Yeat releases Luh Leakyz Vol. 1, a new tape compiling fan-demanded songs recorded across different periods of his iconic career. Four tracks from the collection – “HeliMan,” “Lil Krazy,” “Timë Passed,” and “Marching” were the first introduced through Yeat’s collaboration with Fortnite.
Celebrating the massive success of Yeat’s Fortnite collaboration, Luh Leakyz Vol. 1 brings together fan-demanded tracks that fans first discovered in-game. The collaboration brought Yeat’s world into Fortnite through official skins and accompanying items, including the Yeat Bell pickaxe, two Yeat Bell back blings, and two exclusive emotes. The skins feature past and present-day versions of Yeat, extending his evolving visual identity into the game.
The collection puts some of Yeat’s most recognizable references directly into players’ hands. With the “Out thë way” emote, players ride in a mini-Tonka-style truck, while “If We Being Rëal” lets players perform Yeat’s signature one-finger “Aura Transfer” handshake with one another. The official skins bring both past and present-day versions of Yeat into the Fortnite universe, extending his ever-evolving visual identity into the game.
The launch came into focus Wednesday with the release of the official movie-style trailer, starring Yeat as he jumps out of the Battle Bus and enters the Fortnite universe. Featuring both past and present-day versions of his in-game skins, the trailer offered a first look at the collaboration while hiding clues to the unreleased music fans can now unlock.
Following the release of his seven-track pack Cocoon, the release of Luh Leakyz Vol. 1 alongside the Fortnite collaboration marks another expansion of Yeat’s creative world. From the bells woven throughout his music to the imagery embraced by his fans, the launch brings defining pieces of his universe into an interactive experience, inviting players to step inside it themselves.
