The P9 Express offers 256GB of storage and supports microSD Express speeds up to 800MB/s. It uses both PCIe 3.0 and NVMe protocols, and it’s compatible with devices supporting UHS-I, with speeds up to 90MB/s. Most Switch 2 games are large and include a lot of downloadable content. Once you store enough of them on the device’s memory, it fills up. Adding 256GB of storage lets you store more of your collection and switch between games instantly. Installing the P9 Express is very easy. First, simply insert the card into the Switch 2 card slot. Once the console recognizes it, you can start moving files to the card or download games right away.
MicroSD Express uses the NVMe protocol and a PCIe 3.0 interface to deliver high-speed reads in compatible devices like the Switch 2. Standard microSD devices use the P9 Express card at UHS-I speeds of up to 90MB/s. The card is rated Class 10, U3, V30, and A1 for video recording and app use.
Samsung developed the P9 Express with six ways to protect it on the go. It offers waterproofing, extreme-temperature resistancent, drop-resistant, and abrasion-resistant materials. Whether you’re carrying your Switch 2 in a backpack or car, this design keeps your game data intact
If you plan to connect your P9 Express card to a Windows or macOS computer, Samsung offers a software tool called “Magician” that lets you check your card’s health, verify its authenticity, and evaluate its performance. Samsung also includes a three-year limited warranty for all P9 Express customers. Together, these components make it relatively easy to ensure you get the quality you paid for and to track your card’s performance as your game library grows.
The Samsung P9 Express microSDXC Card delivers fast load times, plenty of storage, and durable protection for your Switch 2. Installation is quick and easy, taking just a few seconds. This card gives you a simple way to add more games to your library for immediate access.
