JustWatch has been the go-to choice for tracking which streaming service hosts the movies and TV shows you want to watch. Now it’s a streamer in its own right with the launch of JustWatch TV, offering rentals, ad-supported viewing, and a monthly subscription to watch without ads.
The streamer launched on Tuesday, giving you access to 344 titles in the US. At launch, it includes free streaming for A Different Man, Aftersun, Captain Fantastic, Green Room, Locke, Red Rocket, Sing Sing, Stop Making Sense, Swiss Army Man, Under the Skin, and We Need to Talk About Kevin, and more.
You don’t need to sign in to your account to begin watching, but you’ll want to do so to track your progress, much like other free streamers such as Tubi TV. You can use the streaming tools across JustWatch apps on Android and iOS, on select smart TV devices, and on desktop through a web browser.
If you don’t want to watch ads, JustWatch TV Plus costs $3.99 a month and lets you watch 234 titles at launch without ads. You can also buy a $49.99 lifetime subscription, although it’s unclear if that will always be available. A JustWatch TV Plus subscription also gives you 10% off select rentals and unlocks Pro features, such as advanced filters.
Alongside free streaming, JustWatch TV lets you rent 348 titles at launch, including Arrival, Friday the 13th, Good Will Hunting, Scary Movie 6, Scream 7, The Godfather, The Running Man, Top Gun: Maverick, and more. Most titles cost $3.99 to $5.99 to rent in HD, with no option to watch in 4K.
However, some titles cost much more, such as Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie, which is still in theaters and costs $19.99 to rent in HD. That movie is available on Amazon Prime Video in 4K UHD for purchase at the same price, making for a much better deal.

In an interview with StreamTV Insiders, JustWatch’s head of global content acquisitions and strategy, Quentin Carbonell, explained that the service wants to see 100 million monthly users “in the years to come.”
Carbonell explains that its user search data may help power its recommendations for its own services. Carbonell said, “We can recommend to them even better other titles throughout this constellation of services, even now, including JustWatch and vice versa. We do believe that this is the best way forward to help people to find titles but also surprise themselves with new things they’ve never heard about potentially.”
