The announcement from fans was a mixture of surprise and excitement from Naruto lovers, and confusion from everyone out of touch with the series. There are also a number of fans wondering why the team hasn’t unveiled the rest of its theme-night schedule yet.
Written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto: Shippuden is a Japanese manga series that began in 2007.
Fans can score a “special-edition” Naruto: Shippuden headband when they buy tickets to the game. The headband is blue and features the Canucks orca logo on the front.
“Purchase while supplies last,” the team notes on the offer.
