Another business in downtown Great Bend, another big celebration.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, Hidden Gems <a href="https://comicvibe.com/axa-xl-backs-app-based-art-and-collectibles-cover-in-singapore/” title=”AXA XL backs app-based art and collectibles cover in Singapore”>Collectibles will host a grand re-opening at
its new location of 1101 Main Street. The festivities begin at 11 a.m., and
will included pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, pasta salad, chips, and
drinks. Cookies and brownies will be provided by Christina’s Cakes &
Creations.
Hidden Gems Collectibles opened at its original location, 1920
16th Street, in November 2025. Eventually growing too large for the
four office spaces inside Cheyenne Travel, the business was recently able to secure
the 1101 Main Street address, formerly the location of Forever Young.
The new Hidden Gems location has been completely remodeled into
a one-of-a-kind store for all ages. The shop features several trading card
games, including Pokemon, One Piece, and Magic, and owners hope to expand the
selection. Players can buy, sell, and trade cards with community members and
players from around the nation. The store also includes exotic snacks, candy,
and drinks.
Hidden Gems Collectibles is owned by Fernando Espino, Marcos
Barragan, and Jonathan Tovar, all of Great Bend. Saturday’s grand re-opening
will be an all day event from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
