Beat Saber gets into the spooky spirit with its latest shock drop, the theme from Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.

Beat Games has announced the latest shock drop for Beat Saber. Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. brings the title track from the 1984 blockbuster film Ghostbusters to the VR rhythm workout game.

Who you gonna call? Beat Saber!

    Anyway, here‘s a trailer.

An update released to coincide with the Shock Drop fixes a number of bugs across several environments, and upgrades the game’s Level Editor. The complete list of updates can be seen here.

This spooky season-themed Shock Drop joins previous songs released this year, including “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars last month, Yungblud’s “Zombie” in June, Bad Bunny’s “Me Porto Bonito” in February and “Stressed Out” from Twenty One Pilots in March.

The game also added three new free original songs in May for its eight-year anniversary, and Meta announced the game’s biggest update ever is adding a new gameplay mode called Flux, full hand tracking support and a new progression system. This update will launch in spring 2027 to coincide with the recently revealed Meta VR Glasses.

Ghostbusters for Beat Saber is available now on Quest and PC VR for $1.99.
