We’re more than two weeks into the 2026-27 college hockey season, and Minnesota finally released its entire men’s hockey TV/streaming schedule on Wednesday. The Gophers will appear on six different streaming services or TV channels this season.
Big Ten Network (BTN)
The Gophers will have 10 BTN-exclusive games this season, starting with a Thursday night game against Wisconsin on Nov. 5. BTN remains one of the most convenient ways to watch Gophers men’s hockey since the team’s move to the Big Ten for the 2013-14 season.
FOX 9+/FOX9
The Gophers are continuing their local partnership with FOX9, and 14 of their regular-season games, plus their lone exhibition, will air on FOX9/FOX9+. Jim Rich will host a 30-minute pregame show presented by Fairview for games airing on FOX9/FOX9+ and provide play-by-play announcing. Minnesota’s second-leading all-time scorer, Pat Micheletti, will remain in the broadcast booth, serving as an analyst, according to the release.
FOX9/FOX9+ home games in the Twin Cities will also be carried free over the air in the Duluth, Mankato, Rochester, Austin, Albert Lea, Mason City and Fargo/Moorhead markets, according to the school.
Big Ten Network+ (B1G+)
Every FOX9+/FOX9 broadcast will also be available on B1G+, except for this weekend’s series against Minnesota Duluth. A Jan. 15 matchup at Ohio State is Minnesota’s only B1G+-exclusive game all season.
Fox Sports 1 (FS1)
One of the best rivalries in college sports will have a bigger stage on Feb. 5 when Minnesota plays at Wisconsin on FS1. That weekend will feature a Friday-Sunday series, and the Sunday game will be on BTN.
Peacock/NBC Sports Network (NBCSN)
Minnesota’s lone road series against Notre Dame will be available to stream on Peacock, but NBC has revived its NBCSN channel, a traditional TV channel available through most major cable providers and services like YouTube TV.
Midco Sports Plus
Minnesota played its first series of the season against Michigan Tech on Midco Sports Plus, and its lone road trip to Mankato on Nov. 28 will air on the service again. The home game for that series will air on FOX9+/B1G+.
