    Netflix Announces a Fictional Miniseries Inspired by the Daniel Sancho Case

    Netflix today announced that filming will soon begin on a new fictional miniseries inspired by the case of Daniel Sancho, starringMartiño Rivas(The Final Problem,Cable Girls). The series will be filmed at various locations across Thailand and Spain.

    Produced byBambú Producciones(The Asunta Case,Murder in Galicia), the as-yet-untitled miniseries is executive produced byRamón Campos. It is a fictionalised retelling of the case that captured the country ‘s attention in the summer of 2023.

    Bambú Producciones is a production company led by screenwriter and producer Ramón Campos. Since its founding in 2008, Bambú has established itself as a leading European production company in international markets, thanks to titles such asGrand Hotel,Velvet,Fariña,Cable GirlsandThe Asunta Case. In addition to television series, Bambú also produces documentaries, includingThe Alcàsser Murder,The Asunta CaseandHunting a Monster, as well as feature films such as32 Malasaña Street,A Widow’s Game,Band TogetherandCollision Course.
