Jessica Biel revealed that her oldest son did not approve of one particular look.
In her new film Matchbox: The Movie, which premiered Friday on Apple TV, Biel wears a plunging emerald green dress for one scene, and she revealed that her 11-year-old son Silas was grossed out by the outfit. Biel and husband Justin Timberlake also share a 6-year-old, Phineas.
“My son, Silas, was very concerned about the green dress,” she told PEOPLE at the film’s world premiere in New York City on Monday. “He was like, ‘What are you wearing, Mom? Yuck.'”
Biel confessed she had some anxiety over how her children were seeing her in this completely different light.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is intense for them to be seeing this dress,'” she said.
Still, Biel was excited to bring her kids to the Matchboxset and introduce them to their hero John Cena. While her smallest child sometimes struggled to differentiate the pretend world from reality, Silas was excited to get in on the (faux) action.
“He plays a small part in this in the movie at the very end, which is really cute,” she told <a href="https://www.youtube.com/<a href="https://comicvibe.com/15-tv-shows-to-watch-if-you-like-the-queens-gambit-2/” title=”15 TV Shows To Watch If You Like The Queen's Gambit”>watch?v=B_Rek2P53Do” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>E! And as for whether Silas will continue to follow in his mother’s footsteps, Biel said that he’s currently exploring various creative interests. In fact, he is also tapping into his musical side, taking after his father.
“He’s a DJ, so he’s kind of interested in both lanes,” she continued. “We’re just kind of letting him take his time and see what happens and what he really gets interested in.”
