Netflix’s Hallmark pipeline keeps on flowing. Both seasons of Mistletoe Murders, the festive mystery series starring Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney, will be streaming on Netflix in the United States from November 1st, 2026.

The timing is no accident. Season 3 of the show premieres on Hallmark Channel on Thursday, November 5th, as part of the network’s annual Countdown to Christmas event, so Netflix subscribers will have just under a week to catch up before the new episodes begin airing.

    What is Mistletoe Murders?

Based on the Audible original by Ken Cuperus, Mistletoe Murders follows Emily Lane (Drew), the owner of a Christmas store in the tourist town of Fletcher’s Grove who harbors a mysterious past. Alongside local detective Sam Wilner (Mooney), she finds herself caught up in a string of murders throughout the holiday season.

The series launched with six episodes on Hallmark+ in 2024 before making its linear debut on Hallmark Channel in October 2025, with season 2 following that November. That second season ended on a big cliffhanger, with Emily coming face-to-face with her hacker ex, Aaron (Aaron Ashmore), and season 3 picks up right from that moment. Good Witch star Catherine Bell also joins the cast for the new season.

If you’ve been enjoying other cozy mysteries on Netflix, this one should be right up your alley.

Looking back at Netflix’s Hallmark deals

Mistletoe Murders is the latest in a growing list of Hallmark titles to find a home on Netflix after years of the two not crossing paths in the US.

Netflix in the US used to carry Hallmark staples like Good Witch and When Calls the Heart, but both had departed by the time the relationship was revived in 2024, when Netflix licensed 10 Hallmark Channel Christmas movies ahead of the holidays, including Haul Out the Holly, A Biltmore Christmas, and Christmas in Notting Hill.

That deal was evidently a success for both parties, with Hallmark saying its linear viewership and Hallmark+ subscriber numbers benefited. In September 2025, the two companies announced an expanded multi-year licensing deal, with the headline title being The Way Home. Seasons 1 and 2 landed on Netflix in October 2025 and immediately lit up the top 10 charts, followed by season 3 on February 1st, 2026.

The deal also brought a batch of Hallmark Christmas movies to Netflix in select markets for the 2025 holiday season, while in the US, Netflix picked up five Hallmark rom-coms in time for Valentine’s Day 2026, including An Unexpected Valentine with Lacey Chabert and Robert Buckley, The Royal We, and Sisterhood, Inc.

The pattern has been consistent throughout: new Hallmark titles debut on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ first, then head to Netflix once that exclusive window closes. That means season 3 of Mistletoe Murders likely won’t be heading to Netflix until much later, probably in time for the 2027 holiday season if the pattern holds.

Will you be checking out Mistletoe Murders when it lands on Netflix in November? Let us know in the comments, and for everything else festive heading your way, keep it locked to our guide to Christmas movies and series coming to Netflix.
