New York Comic Con is almost here, and collectors are about to have a LOT to be excited about! Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo are heading back to NYCC 2026 with an impressive lineup of convention exclusives featuring some of the biggest names in pop culture.
Whether your collection leans toward superheroes, Marvel icons, adorable Sanrio characters, or terrifying xenomorphs, there’s a good chance you’ll want to make some room on those shelves.
Among the featured franchises this year are DC, Marvel, Sanrio, and Alien, with Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo bringing plenty of exclusive collectibles to the convention floor.
DC Fans, Get Ready for a Daily Surprise
DC collectors are going to have an especially exciting NYCC.
Throughout New York Comic Con, Funko will release a different DC Comics: Lantern NYCC exclusive variant each day, with the variants available in limited quantities. That means there’s a new collectible to hunt down every day of the convention!
Alongside the daily variants, collectors can also grab the POP! Legendary LE: DC Comics – Green Lantern, which will be available every day at the Funko booth as well as online at Funko.com.
And here’s the important part for collectors who love true convention exclusives: select variants will only be available at the Funko booth during NYCC and will not be sold online.
So, yes, the hunt is officially on!
Marvel and Sanrio Join the Fun
Marvel fans will also find NYCC exclusives waiting at the Funko booth, while Loungefly is bringing some adorable — and highly collectible
Because apparently a trip to Comic Con isn’t complete until your collection gets at least a little bit cuter.
Something’s Waiting in the Dark…
For fans of sci-fi horror, Loungefly and Mondo are teaming up for Alien-themed NYCC exclusives.
The collaboration is a particularly exciting one for collectors who love the iconic Alien franchise, combining Loungefly’s collectible style with Mondo’s distinctive approach to pop-culture merchandise.
And if you know anything about Alien, you already know that whatever you bring home may be considerably less terrifying than what was lurking aboard the Nostromo.
Want These Exclusives? Pay Attention to the Dates!
Of course, the biggest question for collectors is: How do I actually get these NYCC exclusives?
Funko is once again using its credit card pre-authorization process for convention exclusives. Pre-authorization drawing entries begin Monday, October 5, 2026, giving collectors the opportunity to enter for the chance to purchase the items they’ve selected.
The entry window closes on Wednesday, October 7, after which randomly selected winners will be notified. If selected, their credit cards will automatically be charged for the NYCC exclusive items they pre-authorized for purchase.
And if you don’t get selected in the drawing, don’t give up just yet!
Any remaining inventory from the NYCC exclusive lineup will be added to Funko.com and Loungefly.com on the morning of Thursday, October 8, 2026, following the pre-authorization purchase drawings.
Naturally, with highly anticipated convention exclusives involved, items could disappear quickly — so collectors will want to be ready to shop!
With DC, Marvel, Sanrio, and Alien all represented across Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo, NYCC 2026 is shaping up to be another seriously exciting convention for collectors.
Now the only question is: How much room do you have left on your shelves?
Be sure to check Funko’s official blog for the full details on the pre-authorization process and NYCC exclusive purchasing information.
