Mohsin Khan has quietly moved from an engagement announcement to the next big chapter of his life. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor has married Tamanna in a private ceremony, more than a month after revealing their engagement in August.
The actor gave fans their first glimpse of the wedding on Sunday when he posted a picture with his bride on Instagram. Dressed in a sharp white-and-black tuxedo, Mohsin posed with Tamanna, who wore a colourful lehenga.

Mohsin shared the wedding picture with a simple caption: “The Day, MashaAllah.”

Soon after, more glimpses from the celebrations began appearing online. Videos shared by Mohsin’s fan clubs showed the actor dancing to “Chammak Challo” during the festivities. Another video, apparently from the nikah ceremony, showed Mohsin and Tamanna dancing alongside their family members.
The actor also shared pictures and videos of the nikah decorations, giving followers a peek into the private wedding setup. According to the details visible in the videos, Mohsin and Tamanna got married on October 3.
Mohsin’s August engagement announcement
Mohsin had announced his engagement to Tamanna in August with a long and personal note. Looking back at how their relationship developed, Mohsin wrote, “Allahumma baarik. Ya Allah, so this crazy, beautiful, confident, sensitive girly – always laughing and teasing, hoping and praying, always dancing and singing – was written for me in the heavens.”
He also recalled their first meeting, holding hands for the first time and Tamanna singing “Hum toh bhai jaise hai waise rahenge.” Mohsin said that something “settled” inside him during those moments and that he felt he had found his person.
The actor described their relationship as a journey of “Love, Friendship & a Lifetime of Memories” and spoke about finding a home in each other.
He also quoted a line from Tamanna’s favourite film while writing about his feelings for her: “Mohabbat kya hoti hai ye toh mai nai jaanta, Lekin iss k liye dil se ek dua zaroor nikalti hai ke iski aakho mai kabhi aasu naa aaye…”
