New on Crunchyroll in October 2026: UAE Anime Guide

Crunchyroll’s October 2026 line-up puts The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 and Black Clover Season 2 back-to-back, with Firefly Wedding arriving the following week. There is more than returning fantasy to make room for, though: the month also brings football in Aoashi Season 2, the new Magic Knight Rayearth and an esports-driven adventure in DARK MACHINE THE ANIMATION.

Here is what’s new on Crunchyroll in October 2026 for UAE viewers. We have picked out the highlights, gathered the dated premieres in one place and separated ongoing shows from new arrivals. For the rest of your streaming watchlist, see what’s new on Netflix in October and our October TOD guide.

The dates below are scheduled subtitled premieres, not full-season drops or confirmed dub launches. Crunchyroll says schedules, languages, and regional availability can change; its MENA calendar doesn’t list separate UAE release times.

What’s new on Crunchyroll in October 2026?

These are the releases we would put near the top of an October watchlist, whether you are catching up with a returning favourite or looking for something new.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 3: 2 October

Maomao is back at work as a pharmacist, but an unusual breakfast is enough to draw her into another mystery. Jinshi, meanwhile, is adjusting to his responsibilities as the Imperial Brother. Rumours of an immortal maiden and the threat of famine take the investigation beyond Li, making this the pick for viewers who prefer their intrigue served with clues rather than another escalating battle.

The MENA schedule lists Arabic subtitles and planned English and Arabic dubs. The 2 October date applies to the subtitled premiere; the announcement does not confirm when either dub will begin.

Black Clover Season 2: 3 October

Asta and the Magic Knights head into the Spade Kingdom to rescue their captains from the Dark Triad, only to find a fight larger than the rescue mission they had planned. This continues the existing story, so newcomers should catch up before jumping into the new season. Returning viewers will be drawn to the next stage of Asta’s fight to protect his friends and keep his promise to Yuno.

Aoashi Season 2: 4 October

Ashito has earned a place on the A team, but promotion hasn’t made life any easier. Training alongside players such as Kuribayashi and Akutsu exposes the gap he still needs to close, with the U-18 Premier League offering little room to learn gently. This is the football option in a month otherwise crowded with magic, reincarnation and battles for the fate of entire worlds.

Magic Knight Rayearth: 7 October

A school trip to Tokyo Tower takes Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu somewhere much farther away when Princess Emeraude calls on them to save Cephiro. The new adaptation offers a gateway into a fantasy adventure about three girls who are abruptly given responsibility for another world. An English dub is announced, but the supplied MENA schedule doesn’t specify Arabic subtitle support.

Firefly Wedding: 9 October

Satoko Kirigaya wants to secure a marriage that will make her father proud, but her failing health leaves her with little time. When an assassin kidnaps her, she makes a desperate proposal of her own: marry her. Shinpei Goto accepts, and his growing obsession turns her attempt to survive into a different kind of danger. This is romantic suspense rather than a gentle love story, with Arabic subtitles and both English and Arabic dubs announced.

The Vermilion Mask: 10 October

An apprentice mask maker named Peru is possessed by a mask that causes him to kill his master and friends. He responds by tracking down and destroying every mask his master created before anyone else suffers the same fate. The premise gives this dark-fantasy adventure a more personal goal than saving the world: Peru is trying to stop a tragedy he has already lived through from happening again.

DARK MACHINE THE ANIMATION: 13 October

In Golden Valley, the esport DARK MACHINE is powerful enough to shape the region’s economy and determine who controls it. Kairi arrives following his late grandfather’s instructions to find “Senki”, then becomes a player after meeting a girl being pursued by the region’s ruler. The gaming setting makes this a natural watchlist candidate for readers who like competition stories with stakes beyond the scoreboard.

Dreamland: 16 October

Terrence has been terrified of fire since losing his mother in a blaze. Confronting that fear opens a path into Dreamland, a dimension built from humanity’s dreams and nightmares, where he becomes a Voyager who can control fire. It is the final dated premiere in the supplied October calendar, with Arabic subtitles and an English dub listed in the announcement.

When are October’s new anime and returning seasons arriving?

The table covers all 27 dated October premieres in Crunchyroll’s supplied MENA release plan. A returning season or second part is labelled accordingly. “Cour” means a broadcast block within a season, so the two cour releases below continue existing series rather than start new ones. These dates mark the start of the subtitled weekly run, not the arrival of every episode.

Which releases have Arabic subtitles or dubs?

The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, Black Clover Season 2 and Firefly Wedding are the three dated October releases explicitly listed with Arabic dubs in the supplied MENA calendar. Each also has Arabic subtitles and an announced English dub. Crunchyroll will announce dub launch dates separately, so an October subtitle premiere should not be read as a same-day Arabic audio release.

Arabic subtitles are listed for the other dated titles too, with three exceptions where the release does not specify Arabic subtitle support: VERTEX FORCE, Magic Knight Rayearth and DARK MACHINE THE ANIMATION. That is an information gap in the announcement, not confirmation that those shows will never receive Arabic subtitles. Check the title’s language options in your UAE account before watching.

Which shows are continuing through October?

The release separately identifies five series continuing from the summer season. These are ongoing weekly shows, not new October premieres, and the weekdays below come from the supplied MENA schedule.

Overgeared also belongs on the wider fall watchlist, but its announced premiere was 27 September, so it is not counted as a new October launch here. Our earlier Crunchyroll fall 2026 line-up report covers the season’s September start, alongside the October highlights.

Does PSYREN have an October release date?

Not in the supplied calendar. PSYREN remains under “coming soon”, without a confirmed premiere date. The series follows Ageha as his search for a friend draws him into reports of disappearances and a deadly game. An English dub and Arabic subtitles are listed, but Crunchyroll has not confirmed whether it will premiere in October.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Crunchyroll release dates for the UAE?

They come from Crunchyroll’s MENA release calendar, the regional schedule relevant to UAE viewers, rather than a US-only list. However, the release notes that availability can vary by region and doesn’t provide UAE-specific launch times.

Will the new seasons be available to binge on their premiere dates?

No. Crunchyroll describes these as weekly simulcasts. The listed date is the scheduled start of the subtitled release, not a full-season drop. Returning seasons and second-cour releases are labelled in the calendar.

Do the Arabic dubs launch on the same day as the subtitled episodes?

The announcement does not confirm that. Arabic dubs are listed for The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, Black Clover Season 2, and Firefly Wedding, but Crunchyroll will announce their dub launch dates separately.
