The Bigg Boss 20 house did not even wait for the usual weekend drama to deliver its latest shock. Before Salman Khan could return to the stage, address the contestants and announce the regular eviction, the show dropped a mid-week elimination instead. This time, it was Rhiti Tiwari, daughter of Manoj Tiwari, who had to leave the house.
The eviction came after the contestants were asked to take a closer look at the nominated housemates and decide who they felt was contributing the least to the game.
Three names emerge for captaincy
The latest episode began with three contenders being selected for the captaincy task. Bigg Boss then called the three contestants into the confession room and gave them another task, this time involving the nominated contestants.
They were asked to name the housemate they believed had made the least contribution to the game.
Mahhi initially picked Mary Kom, while Yung DSA named Aman Gandhi. Uditi, however, chose Rhiti Tiwari.
Uditi said she found Rhiti’s personality confusing. The others eventually agreed with her choice. Rhiti’s changing behaviour towards Qazi Touqeer had also become a talking point inside the house.
Rhiti’s fight with Qazi becomes a talking point
The nomination came after a tense week for Rhiti. During a diss battle task, she had openly declared that she hated Qazi and directed abusive language at him.
The situation became more serious when Rhiti accused Qazi of physically charging at her during the task. She appeared to expect Salman Khan to take her side when he addressed the incident.
That did not happen.
Instead, Salman criticised Rhiti for her language and for the way she behaved towards both Uditi and Qazi. He also praised Qazi and Uditi for the manner in which they handled the confrontation.
Salman calls her diss battle performance the “worst diss ever”
Salman did not hold back while discussing Rhiti’s performance. He described her showing in the diss battle as the “worst diss ever” and then addressed her attitude towards Qazi.
“Qazi has gracefully handled all the insults; he has done it all for 20 years. But you, Rhiti, you think you are a rockstar, but no one thinks so…” Salman said.
He then brought up Rhiti’s connection to her father and warned her that being Manoj Tiwari’s daughter could also bring accusations of nepotism.
“You are Manoj Tiwari’s daughter… people will say it is nepotism. Now, this is the result of your father’s hard work. From now on, it depends on you. What you do, the blame or credit should not go to your father,” he said.
Salman also referred to Rhiti’s conduct during the argument, saying, “Aap Dolly ban gayi us fight mein.”
He went on to respond to her apparent reference to her father, saying, “Mera baap hota toh dekh leta, but kaise dekh leta? Aapke father actor nahi, politician hain (If he were my father, I would have seen it. But how could I have seen it? Your father is not an actor; he is a politician).”
Salman ended the remark by saying that he did not think any father would entertain such behaviour.
