MEET THE MINDS BEHIND THE FANDOM
We’re also getting some VIP guests in on the fun. Craniacs artist Joe Simko will sign Craniacs cards at the booth at 1 p.m. on Sunday, and Henk Rogers, founder of The Tetris Co., will join us to sign copies of his memoir, The Perfect Game: Tetris — from Russia with Love (time to be announced!).
Leave some room in your NYCC budget. On Saturday, Big Mouth will bring Shrek-themed merch fresh from the swamp. Royal Canadian Mint will also be at the booth on Saturday, selling collectible coins you’ll want to get your claws on (consider that a hint).
TOMY will be at the booth Friday and Saturday, offering fans the opportunity to snag their own Momiji mystery figures and plush. In addition to being outrageously cute and thoughtfully designed, each collectible has a hidden message inside, spreading a little kindness around NYCC.
On Sunday, YuMe Toysarrives with an NYCC-exclusive Kaiju No. 8 Hero Box, PlayStation Hero Boxes, and Sanrio plush bag charms available for purchase. Fans who buy two or more YuMe collectibles will get a free tote bag, and purchases of $50 or more will come with a free PlayStation Pocket Hero. Randomly selected customers throughout the day will also have a chance to win a $150 Entertainment Earth gift certificate.
