Bring on the night!
The greatest villain in The Real Ghostbusters is getting his own Funko Pop!, and holy shit, I need this one.
Funko has revealed its Limited Edition LEGENDARY POP! Samhain, an exclusive coming to the company’s booth at New York Comic Con. The catch? Only 1,000 pieces will be available.
The pumpkin-headed Halloween menace looks fantastic, with his purple robe, snarling face, outstretched hands, and blue ghostly tendrils swirling around him. This is exactly the kind of cartoon nostalgia that gets me into trouble.
Mondo already gave us an incredible Samhain figure, including a $135 Halloween Timed Edition that has since sold out. Now there’s a Pop! to keep him company. Funko hasn’t included a price in the announcement, so we’ll have to wait on that detail.
NYCC runs October 8–11 at New York’s Javits Center, with the company at booth #4515. Booth entry requires a reservation, with a virtual standby queue available for attendees without one. Purchases aren’t guaranteed, and exclusives are first come, first served.
Only 1,000 Samhains? Apparently, eternal Halloween is easier to arrange than shelf space for everyone who wants this little bastard.
