29 September 2026 – A wide variety of fan attractions, including The Bahrain Village organised by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), have been lined up off the track by Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) at the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026.

The F1 spectacle takes place in just over a few days’ time from this Friday to Sunday (2 to 4 October) at SIC, with Bahrain coming alive at Malaysia’s iconic motorsport venue.

In signature BIC style, the event will feature concerts, shows, activations, and family entertainment for all to enjoy on all three days. These include The Bahrain Village showcasing the Kingdom’s rich cultural identity, internationally renowned Chinese acrobats, an army of delightful roaming performers, concerts featuring A-list music artists, plus so much more.

A major part of the off-track attractions at the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026 is The Bahrain Village, which will be located at the Mall Area of SIC. It will offer visitors an immersive experience featuring a programme of traditional experiences, cultural activities, and live handicraft demonstrations. The Bahrain Village will be an opportunity for fans to discover Bahrain’s heritage firsthand and gain a deeper appreciation of the traditions that continue to shape the Kingdom’s identity.

The Bahrain Village will also highlight the island’s vibrant contemporary charm through the participation of local Bahraini food and beverage brands. Visitors will be able to experience authentic Bahraini flavours while discovering the diversity and creativity of the Kingdom’s growing culinary scene.

Also set to delight fans are the Chinese acrobats, who will perform throughout the weekend at SIC Fanzone. They will be captivatingaudiences with breathtaking stunts and precision artistry. Designed for family entertainment, the performances will deliver a dynamic mix of acrobatics, balance, agility, and spectacular live acts.

The roaming performers during F1 weekend will include all kinds of acts – from stilt-walkers to acrobats and from musicians to magicians.

The stilt-walkers will help set the joyous and festival-like mood while towering above the crowd. The roaming musicians will see the likes of Vaga Band bringing their bold rhythms, lively performances, and strong visual presence for a celebration full of energy; along with Batucada Los Joperos, who will deliver an explosive percussion performance inspired by powerful beats and energetic choreography. Other roaming acts at the Fanzone include Cirqus Parade, Comic Book, Emojis, Racing Stilts, Kalimba Batucada, Colour Queens, Spanish Sun, and Masskara.

Meanwhile, headlining the world-class entertainment at SIC will be back-to-back live performances by a pair of music industry superstars. On the Sunday of the race weekend, 4 October, multi-platinum-selling hit-maker Martin Garrix will headline the post-race celebrations, while on the Saturday, 3 October, Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Axwell will be taking to the stage at SIC.

Tickets for each concert are available exclusively to race-weekend ticket holders and are priced at US$50 per person for the Axwell concert, and US$100 per person for the Martin Garrix concert. A separate ticket is required for each performance and tickets are available at Bahraingp.com.
