Amazing Spider-Man #1000 is published (properly) tomorrow from Marvel Comics, but is already booming on eBay. It had a limited release over the weekend for Local Comic Shop Day 2026, but there were printing delays and “allocated” copies, meaning stores may not get all the copies they ordered.

Which is why the Amazing Spider-Man #1000 Skab LCSD Variant, out last Saturday for $9.99, has now sold for up to $150 on release day but has since come down to an only slightly insane $66 on eBay. This copy is currently just $33 with 13 bids and three days to go, and is worth a watch. While the 300-copy ComicsPRO LCSD virgin variant, with one copy per store, has jumped to $115. Will the wider release of the actual comic book affect things come tomorrow? Or will it fuel the fire?
