A new reality show will soon give viewers unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes drama at the Tilman Fertitta-owned casino in Las Vegas.
Houston hospitality mogul and ambassador to Italy, Tilman Fertitta, just closed a deal adding Caesars Entertainment to a massive portfolio of hospitality destinationsfor $17 billion. Now reality TV watchers can explore the ins and outs, the drama, and the behind-the-scenes shenanigans that take place at Fertitta’s Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino.

In Secret Life of a Vegas Casino, viewers will see employees deal with rowdy patrons, make risky choices, and face unforeseen challenges during the casino’s busiest time of year. The program shows the relationships that can develop between workers as they negotiate the mayhem that exists behind the scenes of an iconic casino.
“Just off the chaos of busy Fremont Street, cameras capture the real-life and often shocking moments that unfold around the clock: unruly guests, high-pressure special events and the relentless efforts required to keep thousands of people safe and entertained each day.”
The first episode starts on the first weekend of the busy season as a missing $1,000 chip sparks a high-tech and hotel-wide hunt to find the person who took it; gaming surveillance cracks down on a team of card counters hitting Fremont Street casinos; tempers flare at the hotel check-in line and a confrontation puts security on alert; and a VIP host pulls strings to keep a high roller happy and gambling after he goes on a six-figure winning streak.

The new, Ferrita-related series is one of the only reality TV shows set in a casino and following operations. American Casino, which aired from 2004–2005, was a Discovery Channel and Travel Channel series that followed the managers and employees working at the Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, Nevada. Fox aired The Casino in 2004, which followed internet entrepreneurs Tim Poster and Tom Breitling as they attempted to run the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino.
Secret Life of a Vegas Casino premieres at 9 p.m. ET/PT on September 29 on Discovery Channel.
