(KXII) – A former Denison and Bells coach who worked as an extra on the Apple TV show “Brothers” says he filmed scenes alongside Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson a little while ago.
“I filmed the TV show ‘Brothers’ with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, we actually filmed that over a year and a half ago,” Rayce Guess said.
Guess said he did a scene with McConaughey involving a lemonade stand.
“I actually did a scene with Matthew where he and I and his wife on the show are talking at a lemonade stand, we filmed together for about an hour and a half and he’s an extremely good actor. Very professional, they gave him many changes throughout the day and he rattled it off with no problem,” Guess said.
Guess also worked with Harrelson on set.
“And Woody was super super personable, super good guy,” Guess said.
“Brothers” leans into the rumor that McConaughey and Harrelson are real-life brothers, a theory that’s still unconfirmed.
“The timelines didn’t match up and from what I hear Matthew refuses to do a DNA test,” Guess said.
Guess said he’s been in more than 30 different TV shows and movies.
“Most of the time I don’t even watch the episodes that I’m in, I don’t have Apple TV cause I’m cheap,” Guess said.
Guess said there’s nothing like being on set.
“You go to a location, you shoot, they feed you like a king you get to meet a lot of really interesting people and it’s kind of a break from my everyday life,” Guess said.
Guess said he hopes his experience encourages others to step outside their comfort zone.
“Hopefully I can inspire others to do something in the arts and to go on to do something great,” Guess said.
