Miss. (WDAM) – Toy, video game and comic book collectors gathered in Hattiesburg Saturday for a big convention that is growing in popularity around the region
The second South Mississippi Toy Fest of <a href="https://comicvibe.com/3-biggest-netflix-shows-canceled-in-2026/” title=”3 biggest Netflix shows canceled in 2026″>2026 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center featured dozens of vendors and exhibitors.
They were selling vintage comics and action figures, classic video games and other items.
“It is about collectors coming together, finding the things they’ve been looking for years, the nostalgia of it and that’s what we’re about,” said Michael Keith, owner and promoter of the festival. “We’ve got 92 vendors here and nothing but vintage toys, video games, comic books.”
Saturday’s event was the 16th edition of the South Mississippi Toy Fest.
The last Toy Fest was held Feb. 7, 2026.
The first was held in July 2021, with only 10 vendors attending.
