The chapter opens with an announcement that two minutes remain in the first half. Japan’s players decide to attack England during stoppage time to take the lead. While Mikage tries to stop an opponent, he states that England aims for Japan’s weakest spot when they have the ball. Isagi tells everyone to stop the opponents from making passes, suggesting that they share the same strategy. As Aiku tries to obstruct a pass, Lockhart gets it past him easily.
