Peripheral manufacturer GameSir has collaborated with Epic Games to release Fortnite-themed mobile controllers.
The collection launches with Fortnite editions of GameSir G8 Plus and GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox. “Featuring premium controller technology that delivers console-inspired performance, authentic Fortnite-inspired designs, and an in-game bonus item with every controller, the collection delivers an experience that extends well beyond the hardware,” GameSir shared.

The G8 Plus Fortnite edition comes with drift-resistant hall effect sticks, mappable rear buttons, console-inspired “ergonomics”, multiplatform compatibility, and more. The Fortnite edition controller also comes with a special digital in-game bonus, but that will depend on which controller someone purchases. These in-game bonuses include emotes such as Bully, Burpee, Gun Show, and more.
The Fortnite edition of X5 Lite for Xbox features an “ultra-lightweight” portable design, responsive wired performance, “Comfortable controls optimised for mobile gameplay”, and more. Just like the G8 Plus, this one also comes with digital in-game bonuses depending on the controller someone purchases. These bonuses, however, differ as players can get the Extra Cheese Glider, Storm Sigil Glider, and more.
The G8 Plus Fortnite edition is available to preorder from GameSir’s official website for $89.99. The X5 Lite for Xbox, on the other hand, comes in at $49.99 and is also available to preorder from GameSir’s website.
