‘The Voice’ Coaches Perform ‘The Weight’ for Season 30 Premiere

“The Voice” is back for another season filled with inspiring singers, along with new and returning facestaking a seat on the famous red chairs.
Celebrating its milestone 30th season, the NBC singing competition show kicks off with a three-night premiere that starts on Monday, Sept. 21.
During her appearance on TODAY ahead of the premiere, Kelly Clarkson called this season “fun” and exciting, especially with the addition of two new coaches.
Carson Daly returns as host, along with coach Adam Levine who won Season 29.Clarkson is back for her 11th season, while the newcomers are Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
Clarkson told TODAY that Green and Queen Latifah’s addition was “seamless.” She then jokingly added it was “annoying” because she does have to “fight really hard” to get country artists on her team now.
During the premiere episode, viewers will see the Blind Auditions, the first round of the show, where singers will showcase their impressive vocals in hopes of getting the coaches to turn their chairs. Once a coach hits their button and shows interest in a contestant, they try to persuade the artist to be on their team.

The new season of “The Voice” premieres on Monday, Sept. 21 on NBC.
The Blind Auditions will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 22 and Wednesday, Sept 23.
What Time Does ‘The Voice’ Season 30 Air?
The first episode of “The Voice” Season 30 will air at 8 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
The Sept. 22 and Sept. 23 episode will air from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
All episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
What to Know About ‘The Voice’ Season 30
“The Voice” is returning to its live shows format following the Blind Auditions and Cut Week, an elimination round. The six weeks of live shows will include special guest appearances and themed weeks. These episodes will be simulcast on Peacock.
During this season’s Blind Auditions, the show is introducing the all-new “First In Button.” The button, which can only be used once, “gives the coach who turns first on a multi-chair turn the opportunity to claim an artist before the artist’s final decision,” the show’s press release said.
