Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was seen visiting the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai on Monday, September 21, 2026. The King actor was seen seeking the blessings of the deity with his family, as he interacted with his fans at the venue.
Shah Rukh Khan visits Lalbaugcha Raja
Shah Rukh Khan arrived to seek blessings of the Lalbaugcha Rajaamid the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi festivities in Mumbai on Monday evening with his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan. The three were accompanied by heavy security as they moved in and out of Mumbai’s iconic Ganpati pandal.
Shah Rukh Khan was seen dressed in a dark blue pathan suit, while Gauri wore a yellow salwar suit with white embroidery. Meanwhile, Suhana chose a dark bottle green kurta and dupatta set with golden motifs on it.
Videos of the Khan family’s visit to the popular pandal have now surfaced on the internet. One of the videos shows the actor and his family making their way to the idol to seek blessings. On their way, Shah Rukh Khan is seen greeting his fans and well-wishers standing in the queue by shaking hands. Meanwhile, other videos show the actor waving and blowing flying kisses to his fans who gathered around his car before getting into it.
Other videos also show Shah Rukh protecting Suhana as they make their way through the crowd with tight security.
Shah Rukh Khan on celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi
A few days ago, Shah Rukh Khan wished his fans and followers on X on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, and also held his regular AskSRK session on the microblogging site. He wrote, “Happy Ganapati to all the boys and girls. Festivities and happiness around and may Bappa bring more of it in your lives. To add to happiness it’s always better to share it with friends. So a bit of sharing and laughs let’s do an AskSRK for a while if you all have the time. Love u.”
Interestingly, he also revealed how he celebratesthe festival when a user asked him about his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. Shah Rukh shared that they welcome Bappa home for 1.5 days and the family follows all the rituals. He wrote, “Wife does the Aarti and then the prayers and tonight will do the Visarjan. Kids and friends gather to hang around and laugh a lot. Very simple and family time.”
He was also spotted at the Ambani’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations early last week, wherein videos of him performing the aarti went viral.
