An unannounced PlayStation rewardsprogram seems to have been rolled out on the PS Store. Players using the PS5 console store noticed limited-time “Wallet Credit” offers with select games. Sony Interactive Entertainment hasn’t formally announced the scheme.
New PlayStation Store Wallet Credit offer may be linked to mysterious app discovered in February 2026
Our readers will recall that back in February 2026, I reported on a mysterious “Wallet Credits” app that appeared on the PS Store. The app was in an “announced” state and could be added to players’ wishlists.
At the time, players speculated that the app was either related to a new rewards program or could be a new way to purchase PSN credit directly from Sony. However, I wasn’t convinced Sony needed a separate app to purchase PSN credit since there are already several ways to top up wallet funds directly
In the screenshot below that’s circulating on Reddit, the limited-time Wallet Credit offer appears below The Blood of Dawnwalker listings. The same offer appears for the new Halloween game, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Star Wars Zero Company, and more.
The Redditor who received the offer claims they got $10 Wallet Credit immediately after purchasing The Blood of Dawnwalker.
It’s unclear whether this is a temporary rewards scheme or whether it’s available outside the U.S. We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
