SOMERSWORTH — The 13th annual Indonesian Festival, hosted by Indonesian Community Connect, known as Little Indonesia, is set for Saturday, Sept. 19 in a new location.

This year’s festival will be at the Maplewood Elementary School, 184 Maple St., from noon to 4 p.m., after previously being held at the city’s high school.

This year’s celebration marks Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day, ICC’s ninth year of service in Somersworth, and the fifth anniversary of the Little Indonesia District Project launch, according to organizers.

Does It Still Challenge Us?”>culture and community with the people and resources around us. We want to create informational access, facilitate mutual understanding across different cultures and values, and share the richness of Indonesian heritage with our neighbors. That is why this matters — when we build that bridge well, the impact reaches far beyond our own community and lifts the whole city we call home.”
