INSPIRED CHARACTERS TAKE CENTER STAGE IN THE BRAND’S FIRST ORIGINAL SINGLE AND CINEMATIC MUSIC VIDEO

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — It’s time for a new doll in the dollhouse. <a href="https://edge.prnewswire.com/c/link/?t=0&l=en&o=4777880-1&h=3367885573&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mgae.com%2F&a=MGA+Entertainment” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>MGA Entertainment (MGA), the company behind Bratz®, Rainbow High® and L.O.L. Surprise!®, today released Mirror Mi’s first original single and cinematic music video, bringing the brand’s six emotion-inspired characters to life through music and live-action storytelling. With the fashion dolls already available at major retailers nationwide, the debut invites fans deeper into Mirror Mi, a connected world where dolls, original music, fashion and emotional storytelling come together.

At the heart of Mirror Mi are six fashion dolls, each embodying a signature emotion through her own distinct personality, point of view and style. Highly detailed fashions, striking silhouettes, long rooted hair, premium styling, 15 points of articulation and collectible accessories make each doll as expressive as the character she represents, giving fans a tangible way to connect with her story and explore the feelings that make her unique.

The cinematic music video takes those personalities and emotions beyond the dollhouse and into an elite performing arts academy, where the characters pursue their creative passions while navigating friendship, self-expression and change. As their feelings evolve and their auras shift, they discover the unique power within every emotion. For the first time, fans can experience the characters’ individual styles and relationships unfolding together on screen.

Produced in partnership with London Alley Entertainment, the award-winning creative studio behind some of today’s biggest music videos, the release marks the first doll-based project directed by Grammy-nominated filmmaker Colin Tilley, whose distinctive visual storytelling has helped shape some of today’s biggest artists.

“With Mirror Mi, we set out to create a world as layered and expressive as the fans it was created for,” said Josh Hackbarth, Chief Marketing Officer at MGA Entertainment. “The dolls are the first point of connection, but music and storytelling allow us to reveal so much more about who these characters are and the emotions that shape them. Every look, lyric and storyline uncovers another side of their personalities, giving fans another opportunity to connect and see themselves reflected in these characters.”

Meet the six core characters of Mirror Mi:

    • Blaze Maxx™ (Electric): She’s tough, outspoken, and brave. Her rockstar energy amps up her friends and fans. She’s fiercely loyal and will always have your back.
    • Amora Valentina™ (Love): When she is not crushing, she is gushing about her love for her friends! She has the biggest heart and always sees the good in people.
    • Luna Skye™ (Dreamy): People say she has her head in the clouds, but that’s only so she can whisper to the moon. She’s full of whimsical ideas, always dream journaling and perfecting her night-time skin care routine.
    • Akiko Kittyama™ (Cozy): She adores all things comfy and cozy! Whether she’s planning the perfect chill day or giving a big, warm hug, she knows how to make everyone feel right at home.
    • Shai Meadows™ (Sheepish): Sweet, quiet, and gentle, Shai may not always say what‘s on her mind, but her kindness and creativity speak for itself. She can make her friends smile without saying a peep!
    • Suki Goldpetal™ (Fragile): Soft-spoken and sensitive, she feels everything deeply. She might appear delicate, but she dances like nobody’s watching. When she embraces who she is, she shines like gold.

The debut music video marks the beginning of Mirror Mi’s next chapter across product and entertainment. The story will continue through stylized stop-motion films and an animated short-form series launching later this year, giving fans more ways to follow the characters, their relationships and their emotional journeys.

The brand will also expand its product lineup with Mirror Mi Mini Dolls, small reflections with supercharged emotions. Rather than miniature replicas of the fashion dolls, each four-inch Mini Mi reimagines a character’s signature feeling as a heightened collectible expression all its own, designed to be customized, posed, displayed and taken on the go.

Mirror Mi fashion dolls are available now at major retailers nationwide. The debut music video is streaming now on YouTube. Mini Mis launch in October, with select styles available for preorder at MGAE Shop beginning September 23.
