HBO Max and BritBox Sept. 17 announced the return of “The Best of British TV by BritBox” to the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform. Through Dec. 15, more than 100 episodes of British-themed dramas, mysteries, crime thrillers, and comedies are available on HBO Max subscribers in the United States.
Launched in the United States in 2017 by the BBC and ITV featuring British television shows, BritBox has expanded its offering across originals and long-running franchises, connecting U.S. audiences with distinctive storytelling from across the United Kingdom.
From “Blue Lights,” the BAFTA-winning police drama set in Belfast, which returns for season four on BritBox later this year, to the comedy “The Office” from Ricky Gervais, and this year’s “Riot Women,” the series by Sally Wainwright, the curated collection showcases some of Britain’s most celebrated television series.
