For Roblox’s 20th <a href="https://comicvibe.com/nintendo-says-more-zelda-40th-anniversary-switch-2-stock-is-incoming-as-scalpers-cash-in/” title=”Nintendo says more Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 stock is incoming, as scalpers cash in”>anniversary, we’re looking back at two decades of games by the creators who’ve built the platform, block by block, and celebrating with a brand-new platform-wide event. From Sept. 17 to 28, players who join The Hunt: Roblox 20 will join games from each year of Roblox’s history—all the way back to 2006. Completing all 20 years unlocks Year Infinity—with access to 20 more games that represent the best of 2026 and beyond. 

Available now, the limited-time Classic app theme brings back the old-school Roblox logo, colors, and font. For the duration of the event, all players can switch to the throwback theme with a single toggle on their device. It’s a nod to where we started, and it’s available to all players today.
To keep the nostalgia going, active Roblox Plus subscribers get to keep the Classic app theme, as well as a classic avatar background and profile frame—even after the event ends. Subscribers also unlock early access to the event hub (9 a.m. PT on Sept. 17) and the chance to earn three exclusive virtual items during the event.

To get started, players join the Hub, where they’ll find portals to 20 games from Roblox’s past and present, from classic titles like Lumber Tycoon 2 and Jailbreak to newer favorites like Adopt Me! and Grow a Garden. 

Players start in Year Zero (Roblox’s founding), then play through 20 years of Roblox history in chronological order. To progress to the next year, players complete a quest that represents the era they’re in, with UGC rewards to collect along the way.
