Animal Hospital leads list of winners at the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026
Animal Hospital racked up four titles at the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026.
The 2026 Roblox Innovation Awards (RIA) took place during the Roblox Developer Conference (RDC), celebrating the platform’s games and creators across 20 different categories.
The fan-voted award spotlighted some of Roblox’s trendiest and most popular titles, with breakout hit Animal Hospital leading the winners with four accolades. The ceremony also recognised established games such as the shooter RIVALS and survival horror title 99 Nights in the Forest, alongside newer releases such as +1 Keyboard Escape and TTK.

- Best Innovation in Tech: TTK
- Best Sports Game: FIFA Super Soccer
- Best Action Game: Jujutsu Shenanigans
- Best Innovation in Creative Direction: Animal Hospital
- Best Survival Game: 99 Nights in the Forest
- Best Strategy Game: Mini War
- Best RPG: Piggy: Intercity
- Best Classic Game: Natural Disaster Survival
- The Builderman Award: Animal Hospital
Developer Categories
- Best Studio: Nosniy Games
- Best Plugin: UGC Makers Toolbox
- Best UGC Creator: Valkenheim
- Best Video Star: Laughability
Nosniy Games, the winner of Best Studio, is the developer behind RIVALS, the popular first-person shooter that also claimed the Best Shooter Game award.
The Best Plugin award went to UGC Makers Toolbox, a studio plugin that helps creators produce and publish user-generated content, including accessories and thumbnails.
Meanwhile, prominent UGC creator Valkenheim won the Best UGC Creator award. With a history on the platform dating back to 2012, Valkenheim has built an extensive library of products and a community of more than 190,000 members.
Lastly, Laughability took home the Best Video Star award. The Roblox-focused YouTube channel has nearly 3 million subscribers and is known for popular content, including 24-hour game challenges and collaborations. Laughability has also amassed more than 202,000 community members on the platform.
The RDC also announced the date for the next Roblox The Hunt event, The Hunt: Roblox 20, a special edition celebrating the platform’s 20th anniversary. The event will begin on 17 September.
Animal Hospital dominates the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026
One thing about Roblox is that the platform certainly loves its survival anomaly games. Following in the footsteps of popular horror titles such as Scary Shawarma Kiosk and 99 Nights in the Forest, Animal Hospital offers a fresh take on the concept by combining adorable animal characters with an ominous setting.
The game takes place in a hospital where players treat animal patients alongside their friends while attempting to identify and survive anomalies hidden among them. It packs a deeper lore that gets live updates almost every other week.
Animal Hospital became a major hit just weeks after its release, peaking at 1.2 million players during its weekend update in July. Its soaring popularity was further cemented by its four accolades at this year’s Roblox Innovation Awards: Best New Game, People’s Choice, Best Innovation in Creative Direction, and The Builderman Award.
