Brands of Wonder, the international brand group behind French design company LEXON, has acquired Leblon Delienne, a French sculpture atelier specializing in collectible art and design objects based on well-known pop culture properties. Financial terms of the transaction were not announced.
Leblon Delienne has operated for more than 40 years and produces sculptures, figurines, furniture and other art and design objects, frequently through limited and numbered editions.
Its licensed collections include characters and intellectual property from Disney, Warner Bros., Peanuts, Playmobil and Sanrio.
The atelier also works with artists, designers, interior designers and luxury brands on custom projects.
Juliette de Blegiers, who acquired Leblon Delienne in 2018, will retain a minority ownership position following the transaction and will continue working with BOW founder Boris Brault and the company’s existing team.
Leblon Delienne produces its sculptures at its atelier in Neufchâtel-en-Bray in Normandy.
The business holds France’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant designation, which recognizes companies possessing specialized craftsmanship and industrial expertise.
BOW intends to use its international distribution, licensing and digital capabilities to expand Leblon Delienne while maintaining the atelier’s existing identity.
The transaction also broadens BOW beyond everyday design products into collectible art.
LEXON has significantly expanded since joining BOW in 2018, with global product sales growing nearly fivefold.
International markets now generate about 80% of LEXON’s business, and the United States has become its largest e-commerce market.
LEXON products are sold in 90 countries across more than 9,000 retail locations.
