X and Samba Partner to Quantify the Real-World Impact of Entertainment Advertising

Samba Analytics provides insights on X campaigns that drive media consumption on streaming platforms, linear TV and at movie theaters

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Samba, the global leader in media intelligence, today announced a strategic partnership with X that will provide entertainment marketers with independent, third-party measurement for how advertising campaigns on the X platform influence real-world consumer behavior. Initial results illustrate X’s impact in driving tune-in across sports and originals, with the platform driving +55% lift for its first 6 measured streaming initiatives.

Through Samba Entertainment Outcomes, advertisers can connect campaign exposure on X to actions such as new viewers for a streaming TV show or ticket sales for a movie in theaters. The offering provides a holistic, deduplicated view of campaign effectiveness at a granular level across platforms and screens, helping advertisers understand X’s impact beyond platform-reported impressions and engagement. Advertisers get actionable insights to improve incremental campaign impact, reduce duplication across media investments, and understand which exposures contribute to meaningful business results.

“X sits at the center of live conversation, where culture is shaped in real-time and influence turns into incrementality. With Samba’s independent, cross-screen intelligence, entertainment marketers can see how X performs across the full funnel — from conversation to cultural impact to conversion — and use that data to engage existing audiences, attract new ones, and win consumer attention,” saidMonique Pintarelli, Head of Global Advertising, SpaceXAI

The partnership is already supporting campaigns across the entertainment vertical, providing advertisers with insight into how exposure on X translates into measurable outcomes beyond the platform. It represents one of the first opportunities for advertisers on X to access independent measurement through Samba and evaluate outcomes for television and streaming conversions, as well as theatrical ticket sales.

“X is the global town square, acting as a real-time forum where cultural trends are shaped by posts of influence and amplified by public discourse and paid promotion. Whether it’s for live sporting events, breaking news, shows and film releases, our data confirms that X is an essential tool for brands that want their share of global attention,” said Ashwin Navin, Founder and CEO of Samba.“Advertisers increasingly want to understand not only who saw or engaged with their campaigns, but whether those campaigns ultimately motivated audiences to behave differently than they otherwise would. Through our partnership, X and Samba will collaborate to inform entertainment marketers how to optimize their investments on X.”
