‘A Tale of Two Cities’ (MGM+)
Kit Harington and François Civil star in a four-part adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic about the French Revolution. The two men — physically alike, spiritually so different — end up irrevocably tied when they fall for the same woman (Mirren Mack). (September. 6)
‘R.J. Decker’ (ABC)
Season 2 is starting off strong with a surprise Dancing With the Stars crossover. (September 15)
‘The Creep Tapes’ (Shudder and AMC+)
Season 3 of the horror show continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer (played by Mark Duplass). (September 15)
‘Dancing With the Stars’ (ABC)
On night one of the season 35 premiere, the male celebrities will hit the ballroom floor, each performing to a No. 1 song from the year they were born. The women will make their debuts the following night with the same theme. One couple will be sent home during each of the two episodes. (September 15)
‘Route 187’ (Paramount+)
The four-part miniseries — executive produced by Tyler Perry — is set along a deadly city-bus route known by the numerical police code for homicide. Following an attack in the fictional city of South Winslow, a journalist uncovers a hidden serial killer. (September 16)
‘The Traitors: New Blood’ (Peacock)
Same castle, new twist. Host Alan Cumming is back for Peacock’s usually celeb-studded hit. This time, everyday Americans will try to identify the Traitors among the Faithful to secure the grand prize. (September 17)
‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story’ (Netflix)
The latest Monster installment centers on the woman (Ella Beatty) accused of giving her folks 40 whacks in the late 19th century. This is a Ryan Murphy joint, so expect things to get… wacky. (Case in point: Sarah Paulson stars as Aileen Wuornos.). (September 17)
‘Line of Fire’ (NBC)
Good news for anyone missing Peter Krause after his controversial 9-1-1 death (or Hope Davis after season 1 of Furious): They’re both back in this action thriller about a family of law enforcement agents up against a conspiracy. (September 21)
‘Celebrity Name That Tune’ (Fox)
Jane Krakowski is back as the host of the hit Fox game show and Robin Thicke is joining as bandleader, replacing Randy Jackson. (September 21)
‘Celebrity Weakest Link’ (Fox)
Celebrity Weakest Link brings together eight celebrities who will compete to win up to $1 million for a charity of their choosing. (September 21)
‘Best Medicine’ (Fox)
Season 2 picks up five months after the season 1 finale as Martin settles in at Port Wenn. (September 22)
‘Doc’ (Fox)
Blair Underwood joins the cast of Doc — and is part of an intriguing new love triangle. (September 22)
‘Brothers’ (Apple TV)
