The rod’s core mechanic is the Mesmerizer, which fires every three catches and rewards two extra fish. Those bonus fish carry a guaranteed Mesmerized mutation, a 14% chance for Shiny, a 9% chance for an Enchant Relic, and a 1% chance for an Exalted Relic. Pair it with the Scavenger enchantment and MiguRod shifts from a money rod into a dedicated relic farming tool.

Each fish also has a 41% chance to trigger Chimera’s Wrath, which spawns three shapes during the minigame. Every successful dodge adds 4% Progress, and Chimera’s Wrath also gives a 1.41x higher chance for Rare Finds. How does the Noiseform minigame work?

The passive delivers 50% Progress Speed, mutation chances spread across Astraeus (15%), Serene (10%), Celestial (8%), Breezed (8%), and Nova (8%), plus a 10% chance to instantly fill the progress bar. Flurry of Stars can add up to 30% Progress during normal fishing and gets stronger during Starfall. Stars fall every 2 to 4 seconds, each adding 15% Progress on top of a base 15% Progress Speed. That constant stream of progress is exactly what you need against fish that restrict how fast your bar can move. The rod also carries additional mutation and Enchanted Pool effects. If your bottleneck is landing difficult catches rather than earning money, this is the wish.

Rod of the Cosmos

Rod of the Cosmos is the most niche pick here and should only be considered if Cosmic Relic farming is a priority. Its stats are modest: 50% Lure Speed, 135% Luck, 0.1 Control, 10% Resilience, and a 10,000 kg cap instead of infinite weight. As a general money rod it is poor.

What it offers instead is a 2% chance to pull a Cosmic Relic during Starfall alongside a 50% Progress Speed boost while Starfall is active. Outside Starfall, that relic chance drops to 0.1%. It also carries a 15% chance for Nova (6x). If you do not want to depend on Stellarwave for Cosmic Relics, this fills a role almost nothing else can.
