Minnesota Wild Games Will Stream In-Market on Prime Video This Season

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced a multi-year local streaming agreement with Prime Video. Prime Video is the exclusive streaming distributor in the Minnesota Wild local broadcast territory and will stream all of the team’s non-nationally televised regular season and First Round Stanley Cup Playoff games starting this season.
Fans within the Minnesota Wild local broadcast territory can watch Wild games on Prime Video by purchasing either a monthly ($19.99) or annual ($99.99) subscription. The subscription is available for all Amazon customers. More details on subscriptions will be announced before the start of the regular season at watch.wild.com.
“We are thrilled to announce a new streaming relationship with Prime Video,” said Minnesota Wild Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President Mitch Helgerson. “This agreement ensures our fans will have a seamless way to watch every local Minnesota Wild broadcast this season. We are excited to bring Wild hockey to fans through a service known for its innovation, accessibility, and exceptional viewing experience.”
The Minnesota Wild will launch Wild+, a team-owned and operated multimedia network, this season. Fans will be able to watch Wild games through multiple distribution platforms, including Prime Video, cable, satellite and over-the-air television. Additional details regarding availability and channel locations will be announced prior to the start of the regular season. As the official television home of the Minnesota Wild, Wild+ will produce every regular season game not selected for exclusive national distribution by the NHL’s broadcast partners ABC, ESPN, ESPN+/Hulu and TNT. Fans outside the team’s local broadcast territory can watch Wild games with NHL Center Ice and NHL Power Play on the ESPN App.

Minnesota Wild telecasts on Wild+ will feature Anthony LaPanta as play-by-play announcer, Ryan Carter as lead analyst, Kevin Gorg as rink-side reporter, and Katie Storm and Wes Walz serving as the primary hosts of theWild pre- and postgame shows. Alex Stalock and Lou Nanne will also serve as analysts for select games.
In-market fans in the U.S. will be able to watch locally at home or on the go, and across thousands of compatible devices, streaming from the web, or using the Prime Video app on smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes, game consoles, and connected TVs.
