    September Releases

    1) Showdown: The Showdown Cup (Early September)

Showdown: The Showdown Cup, coming to Roblox in September

SuperGaming co-founder Roby John says precision gunplay and Jutsus (anime-inspired abilities) are what differentiate Showdown from other first-person shooters. This month, the India-based studio is launching the Showdown Cup, their first in-game tournament. A new Esports Arena was built directly into the game’s Shibuya-inspired hub, where friends can watch live as players compete for a spot on the champions board.
“Roblox had already built a large audience for competitive shooters,” John said. “We saw an opportunity to add greater variety to how players fight, master the game, and express skill. Our ambition is to help create the first generation of first-person shooter esports stars to come out of Roblox.”

    2) Monster in the Mansion (Early September)

Monsters in the Mansion, coming to Roblox in early September

Ubermonster Productions built this cooperative survival-horror game that invites teams of up to eight players to enter Doctor Mondo’s mansion. In this asymmetrical horror game, the objective is to survive long enough to find an antidote and cure the doctor himself. A simple core gameplay loop makes it easy to pick up quickly, but randomized monsters and an unpredictable human element mean that no two rounds ever play out the same way.

Building on Roblox was new to Ubermonster CEO Anthony Francisco, but he quickly saw the advantages. “There is a speed in Roblox that I like,” he said. “This is why I was able to keep the story and the game in lockstep, because I can see if something works visually or not. But what surprised me was the quality of the builds—I didn’t realize the tools got more robust and took things to a more realistic finish. Because of this, the team was able to keep close to my vision for the game.”

    3) GOAT Football League (Early September)

GOAT Football League, coming to Roblox in early September

Argentina-based Red Wolves Studios created this fast-paced multiplayer football (otherwise known as soccer) game—with a twist. Like most sports-themed games, players work with a team to outplay opponents and score as many goals as possible.

“The game takes place in a playful football universe where goats compete to prove who deserves the ultimate title of The Goat,” said Federico De Tezanos Pinto, Red Wolves’ head of production and design. “We chose Roblox because we wanted to prototype and iterate quickly, and Roblox provides many of the tools and systems needed to build a multiplayer game from the start.”

Nemesis, coming to Roblox in mid-September

RoyalFire Legends brings Nemesis, a fast-paced competitive shooter with both first- and third-person POV and unique avatar movement elements like grappling, riding a hoverboard, and seeing through walls.

“We’ve worked to make it as easy as possible to just pick up and play—but with a really high skill ceiling,” said Boston-based creator Ryan McFarland. “If you want to experiment with wall running, you just jump toward a wall and it’ll happen. If you hit the ground in a slide, all your speed gets transferred horizontally; so the higher you are, the harder you’ll hit the ground, the faster you’ll go.”

    5) Fossil Force (Late September)

Nibblebyte developed this Jurassic-era player-versus-environment game with an emphasis on deep visual fidelity. According to project lead Matt J., the team leaned into elements that make the player feel present in the world: directional audio cues that signal nearby dinosaurs, biome-specific ambiance like birds or crickets, and specialized lighting and weather effects.

“In each new biome (overgrown jungles, icy tundra, etc.), players encounter unique dinosaurs native to that environment,” said Matt J. “It’s not intended to be a horror game, but you should be startled, anxious, and on the edge of your seat in these encounters.”

Elbside Studios developed this visually lush, cozy 2D pixel art game where players inherit a farm and need to build it up. Caramel creator Coyann started building on Roblox eight years ago.

“I’m especially proud of the 2D graphics in Caramel,” Coyann said. “A lot of custom technology went into making them possible, and I’m really pleased with how it all came together visually. Roblox gave me an accessible way to learn development and eventually made it possible for me to create pretty much any game I can imagine without having to worry about things like hosting, publishing, or distribution.”

    October Releases

Prime Heroes, coming to Roblox in October

SuperGaming’s Roblox-exclusive team hero shooter is set in its original Prime universe. Players pick a side, pick a hero, and fight to capture crown sites.

“Prime Heroes is built from the ground up around how Roblox players compete, form teams, express themselves, and discover new experiences,” said SuperGaming co-founder and CEO Roby John. “As Roblox and its community continue to evolve, we see growing room for experiences that combine the platform’s social strengths and accessibility with greater visual fidelity, deeper gameplay, and long-term mastery. Prime Heroes is our contribution to that evolution.”

Early access begins in September with six playable heroes; 16 in development, with more arriving season by season.

Octane, coming to Roblox in October

Ignition Switch, led by Michael Loconte, came to the Incubator program with a prototype for an open-world racing game to compete with other high-fidelity titles. The team at Ignition Switch wanted to bring that same AAA racing game look and feel to Roblox for free, on any device.

What sets Octane apart is the level of physics they’ve built into the game, which makes drifting and interaction with the track feel more realistic. “The idea behind Octane is that it’s very much limitless,” said Loconte. “You can do whatever you want with your car. You can drive it on cliffs, around the track, race other people, whatever you want.”

Studio Making Fun joined the Incubator program to develop their take on the action role-playing genre for Roblox.

“Starforged fuses tactical combat, a push-your-luck extraction element, and deep progression systems in an immense sci-fantasy world,” said Making Fun CEO John Welch. “We want players to get a sense that there’s this vast space where they can explore and grow in power with different abilities. Combat starts instantly, everything is upgradable, and charged weapon cores unleash superpowered devastation to turn the tide of a battle.”

Play Starforged in early access or join the Starforged Community to hear about new releases.

Scrapbook Saga, coming to Roblox in October

Creators FadedBFox and Xeycrow built a multiplayer turn-based role-playing game starring a flat paper character in an arts and crafts–themed world. Designer Xeycrow created the paper animations by hand to keep them feeling exaggerated.

“Having your character be expressive in a world that’s equally colorful—and a little silly—is important,” Xeycrow said. “In a way, it gives us an excuse to sneak in all sorts of little details that make the player actually feel alive rather than just being your avatar.”

“I’m really proud of the multiplayer aspects—being able to battle in a group of four against tougher opponents brings a new layer of strategy,” FadedBFox said. “It also opens the door to provide more options in these cases, such as collaborative team attacks!”

The only question remaining is: Which one to try first? We’re excited to share more over the coming weeks and months as these games become available on Roblox.
