Deko Entertainment just dropped three live albums from 1980s hard rock acts. Remastered. 180-gram colored vinyl. The lineup includes Dokken, Slaughter, and Warrant, with signed bundles on offer for die-hards who act fast.
According to Sonic Perspectives, inside this package you’ll find Dokken’s Live From The Sun, Slaughter’s Eternal Live, and Warrant’s Live 86-97. Each record got remastered specifically for vinyl and pressed on colored wax, housed in gatefold sleeves that open like a book.
Dokken kicked off in Los Angeles back in 1978. They’ve moved more than 10 million albums across the globe. Three tracks cracked the Billboard Hot 100: “Alone Again,”“In My Dreams,” and “Burning Like a Flame.”
Slaughter started in Las Vegas in 1988 and released their platinum debut, Stick It To Ya. Three singles charted: “Fly To The Angels” hit No. 19, “Up All Night” climbed to No. 27, and “Spend My Life” landed at No. 39.
Warrant got going in Hollywood in 1984. More than 10 million albums sold. Their double-platinum debut Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich included “Heaven,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Live From The Sun spans two LPs on blue vinyl. One hundred copies bear Reb Beach’s signature. The band captured this show on Nov. 4, 1999, at the Sun Theatre in Anaheim, California, while touring behind Erase The Slate.
“That was a great time in my life and I had so much fun on that tour,” Reb Beach said, per Sonic Perspectives. “I was a big Dokken fan and I was so thrilled to play those classic songs every night.”
Eternal Live lands on orange vinyl and represents the album’s first vinyl pressing. The band tracked these performances during late-1997 shows in Mexico City and Las Vegas. This record stands as a tribute to guitarist Tim Kelly, who perished in an automobile accident in 1998.
Live 86-97 debuts on vinyl as a double LP. The group recorded it at Harpos Concert Theatre in Detroit on Nov. 22, 1996, while touring behind Belly To Belly. Band members Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon signed 100 copies of the set.
“Warrant Live 86-97 captures the energy, attitude and good times that we are known for,” Turner said in a statement “These recordings are a snapshot of Warrant doing what we’ve always loved most, playing live.”
