The start of July means it’s time for Netflix to unveil its latest lineup of new shows. Per usual, it’s a mix of returning shows and brand-new programs. Kicking things off is a new iteration of Netflix’s Worst Everfranchise, and this version will make you look at your neighbor differently. Then, the streamer launches an adaptation of beloved children’s novels
All eyes will be on Will Ferrell’s new golf comedy, marking the star’s return to television. Capping this list off are the sophomore season of a Western romance and the third season of an NFL documentary. All five shows will be available to stream in the U.S
The shows on this list are presented in release order
Worst Neighbor Ever
Your worst nightmare lives next door
First, you met terrible flatmates in Worst Roommate Ever. Then came terrible significant others in Worst Ex Ever. This month, it’s time to meet the terrible residents in Worst Neighbor Ever. Like the previous two series, Worst Neighbor Everexplores nightmare situations between acquaintances in the same neighborhood

The four-episode season chronicles disturbing, wild, and shocking stories. Because the series is a Netflix true crime documentary, there had to be a murder plot at some point, and you’ll find that later in the season. Worst Neighbor Everis another winning addition to this Netflix franchise

Little House on the Prairie season 1
A new take on a classic novel series
It’s crazy to realize that Laura Ingalls Wilder’sLittle House on the Prairienovels date back to the 1930s. I remember seeing many kids read these books in elementary school. There have been multiple television adaptations, most notably NBC’s show that began in the 1970s. Now, Netflix is taking a crack at Wilder’s treasured books in their Little House on the Prairieseries
The show follows the Ingalls family — including Laura (Alice Halsey), Charles (Luke Bracey), Caroline (Crosby Fitzgerald), and Mary (Skywalker Hughes) — as they move to town of Independence in search of a fresh start and a forever home. The Netflix adaptation will also include a storyline featuring the Osage people in hopes of telling both sides of the story. The sweeping epic has already been renewed for season 2
Little House on the Prairie season 1premieres on July 9
Quarterback season 3
Go under center with the NFL’s top signal callers
It may only be July, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the NFL. Training camps begin later this month. Before you know it, we’ll be watching RedZoneduring Week 1. To tide over football fans before the season, Netflix is releasing Quarterbackseason 3 to satisfy that urge

Think of Quarterbackas Netflix’s version of Hard Knocks, but instead of focusing on a team, it’s a few players. The quarterbacks this time around include Washington’s Jayden Daniels, Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield, Tennessee’s Cam Ward, and Cleveland/Cincinnati’s Joe Flacco. The cameras followed each quarterback during the 2025 season. I’m most excited to learn about Flacco, the veteran who can still sling it
Quarterbackseason 3premieres on July 14
The Hawk
Will Ferrell doing Will Ferrell things
If you’re a person between the ages of 21 and 55, Ferrell definitely impacted your theater outings. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Old School, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and Step Brothersprobably made you laugh over the years. Ferrell will attempt to recapture that comedic magic in his new Netflix show The Hawk
Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins (Ferrell) was once a top golfer on the verge of completing golf’s Grand Slam before a missed putt shattered his dreams. Years later, Hawkins wants another shot at glory. Even though his body isn’t the same, his cockiness remains at an all-time high. This time will be different, especially with the presence of his son and fellow pro golfer, Lance (Jimmy Tatro)
The Hawkstreams on July 16
Ransom Canyon season 2
Romance on the ranch
For the most part, Ransom Canyonand Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ shows have different storytelling approaches. It might have the cowboy hats and familial drama of Yellowstone, but Ransom Canyonis more of a romantic Western. Virgin Riverand Sullivan’s Crossingare better comparisons for Ransom Canyon

Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) is in a fight to save his family’s Double K Ranch. After the season 1 finale, Staten’s fight became much harder after his violent incident could cost him the ranch. Meanwhile, Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly) has a major decision to make: stay in town or go to New York? One reason Quinn might stay is Staten. Hopefully, we’ll get answers to Staten and Quinn’s will-they-or-won’t-they relationship
Ransom Canyon season 2streams on July 23
